Music Groups
We would love to incorporate more people in the music ministry.
Worship Team
Musicians and singers can participate in the worship band. This group will primarily lead out in worship at 9:15 on Sunday mornings then close out the service with a final song.
Choir
Choir will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the Chapel. Worship singers are encouraged to be a part of choir. The choir will rehearse anthems and cantatas as well as the occasional worship chorus.
Singers
Will meet on Sundays at 2:00 to learn songs and work on vocal parts. This will be more than learning songs. We will discuss vocal production, technique and vocal health. We also learn about music theory. Singers will stand in the choir loft and sing with the praise band.
Musicians
Can work with Jeff on individual basis and will also come to the 2:00 rehearsal on Sundays occasionally.
Schedule starting in September:
Sundays:
- 8:15 – Worship Team
- 8:45 – Choir
- 9:00 – Break and prepare for service
- 9:15 – Worship starts service with first three songs – final song at end of service
- 2:00 – Worship team rehearsal – mostly vocalists for now.
- Wednesdays:
- 6:30 – Choir rehearsal in Chapel
